Hangman
Just like Tic-Tac-Toe, Hangman is a big crowd-pleaser. We frequently use Hangman as a way to review vocabulary. It does not matter what age or proficiency level. We've used it for vocabulary words like "brother" and even words like "sole proprietorship." This also gives students opportunity to practice letter pronunciation (this is important in Ukraine, especially- they often have real trouble correctly pronouncing the letters). We usually divide the class into teams (of course!) and let them take turns guessing letters. You could have dueling gallows, but we usually just use one. The team to guess the word wins! They love it.
