Never Have I Ever…

You need to have a pretty good amount of room to place this game, as well as a group that likes to move.

WARNING: THIS GAME CAN BECOME DANGEROUS IF IT GETS OUT OF HAND.

To play this game, set up your chairs in a circle. There needs to be one less chair than there are participants. If you don’t have chairs, you can play with pieces of paper taped to the floor. There is a good chance that the papers will be torn, though.

One person begins the game by standing in the middle of the circle (everyone else is seated). The middle person thinks of something that he or she has never done before and says, “Never have I ever dyed my hair.” Then, those in the group who HAVE ever dyed their hair must vacate their seats. This is where it gets dicey: everyone that has done the activity mentioned, plus the middle person must try to get a seat. If you have to move, you cannot sit back down in the chair you vacated- you must find a different seat. Because there are more people than seats, one person will be left standing. This person is the new middle person and must think of an activity that he or she has not done. This can be a fast-paced game, and younger groups (meaning, anyone 30 or younger) tend to really enjoy it.

You might have to insist that no one lies, and you’ll probably have to remind them several times that if they HAVE done the activity that the middle person HAS NOT, then they are supposed to move.
